Someone with DP's experience & credentials certainly can't hurt NEOM's prospects and credibility. But as far as bringing in 'new' money is concerned, I suspect YA will remain the gatekeeper (as in broker) for all future NEOM funding just as in the past--YA likes the structuring and documentation fees as well as controlling the 'table' action--which will become more important whether NEOM gains traction and succeeds at becoming a real business, or just ends up being sold for its IP. YA is not a monolith, but rather a conduit (broker) for investment by others in NEOM--always has been. So who are these investors? We'll probably never know unless we end up in court. YJ.
