Problem now is that they will have to start raising or risk severe inflation. That will put even more pressure on the housing market.

But it has to be done. Yes some will lose their house, but they then can get into something more affordable. I think inflation is worse. I will be made to pay more and I pay my home loan and got a fixed rate. Why should the whole country suffer because people buy homes for more then they can afford.
