NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- The U.S. Minerals Management Service is moving toward limited leases for data collection and technology testing for offshore wind projects, Pritchard Capital Partners noted on Friday. A total of six sites off New Jersey, one off Delaware and three off Georgia are being proposed for site assessment activities relating to wind resources. MMS will proceed with a noncompetitive leasing process for these sites, Pritchard noted.
