Regarding POET, no, I don't "know her" per se, and I think that your perception that she is whiny sneaky manipulative person is far removed from what I know of her. My GUT is that she is a nice lady. She wants to both GET and GIVE respect.
I'd like to see her feel free to post on this board to tell me if what I feel about her is a correct assertion.
Your choice to stop posting at Poet's thread is your prerogrative. I doubt she ever meant you any harm. It seems to me that you are strong and proud in your assertions and positions in life. But frankly, the same is true of what I feel of Poet.
As human beings, we ALL have feelings. Some of us feel them more deeply than others. Some of us HIDE them altogether. Some posters know where they lie in this conundrum.
Reality speaks to all of us as human beings. Why are we here? What predisposed assumptions do we bring to the plate? Are we better than the other? Can we learn from one another? Is it worth our time to JAB another poster whom we do NOT know on the Internet, even if we would dance with that very same person at a wedding reception, given the chance?
The internet is clearly a powerful medium whereby people can use words only to defend their beliefs in life as well as to chastise those who may believe otherwise.
For example Ola, you have made it quite clear here on IHUB that you are not a religious person. Is it up to other posters here to prove you wrong in your assumptions? Likewise, the same is true for Poet, and others here. Yes, EVEN JoeMoney, even with as much as he still needs to learn about basic LIFE in general.
Reality is that we are all here. We live. We breathe. We eat. We sleep. We Converse. We know not why. Yet all the same, we are here.
Any chance we can all make the best of this mysterious "BEING" that we all seem to share?
