I wouldn`t get my hope up to high when it comes to T-Mobile and Calypso. T-Mobile have already signed with Pctel for roaming between hotspots and this solution also support roaming between cellular and wifi which means Birdstep Client. Birdstep are also in direct talks with Deutsche Telekom which owns T-Mobile. Birdstep is probably the provider of software for seamless roaming in this project. I can`t see anythin linking Calypso and T-mobile together, but there is several statments from Birdstep CEO linking Birdstep and T-mobile together and Birdstep are also allready involved with T-mobile through Pctel agreement and through various agreements for their hotspot-software. Birdstep are integrated in T-mobile hotspot at Texaco gas-stations in UK!!:

This is a statement from CEO Jørgen Bredesen at their 1 quarter result in 2004. He confirms that Birdstep are in talks with Deutsche Telekom, a lap-top manufactor, 15 Mobile Operators, 30 enterprises, 2 major infrastructure companies and several hotspot players.

Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) and Birdstep:
Håper på T-Mobile
Et annet selskap Birdstep-sjefen valgte å snakke om i dag var Deutsche Telekoms mobilselskap T-Mobile.

T-Mobile skal tilby såkalt sømløs roaming i løpet av året. Dette er midt i Birdsteps nisje.

- Jeg har gjennom ulike jobber hatt god kontakt med Deutsche Telekom i 15 år, og det har vi nå også, sier Bredesen.

Translated to english:

Hope on T-mobile
Another companye the Birdstep CEO choose to talk about today was Deutsche Telekoms mobile company T-Mobile.
T-Mobile will offer Seamless roaming within this year. This is what Birdstep can offer.
"I`ve had good realtionship with Deutsche Telekom through various jobs for 15 years, and we are also having a good relationship with Deutsche Telekom today," Bredesen says.
