Well, yeah. The white-box segment of PC sales is larger than any brand name. In fact, larger than the top two or three brand names combined. For AMD to have felt they were shut out of PC market $$ because of Intel actions indicates they were out of touch with reality. When in the past ten years has anyone wanting to buy an AMD-based system not found a hundred places to buy from ? AMD management was feeding themselves and their investors fantasies.
