I'll answer that one.

An "original thought" is born of "understanding". Understanding is the space between thoughts. Understanding can only come about from a mind that is silent, and not cluttered or distracted by thought. This is very important, because it is only through understanding that a human can come to realize such things as truth, love, and that which is called God. It will also help you realize the connection that we all share, and the falseness of an "individual" self. It ends all the conflict that thought creates.
