Hi everyone, I've been laying low lately. Trying to avoid negativity as much as possible. I'm enjoying having my son home from your neck of the woods Dahlias. We had a nice party here on Christmas Eve. Forty pounds of Stone Crabs, shrimp, two bushels of oysters steamed on the grill. LOTS AND LOTS OF COOKIES!!!!! And all the usual finger foods including some REALLY good Vermont Cheddar cheese. Fresh sqeezed grapefruit and oranges from our trees. We all had a really nice time. I'm just now recovering and only four days till New Years. At least I won't have to do any of the work for this one. We'll probably go visit friends on a river @ 35 miles north of St Pete. Our tradition is to light a candle and put it in a toy boat and watch it float around the bay. It's a Japanese thing in remembrance of lost loved ones. We've got some really cool fireworks (mortars and cakes) everyone around the bay sets them off. FUN!!! Hope you all are enjoying your holidays. BdM
