Your little joke gets funnier everyday. The phase two visionaries have learned from the many schemes to separate people from their money and put it into their own pockets and hidden bank accounts. And OK, I'll play along - ahem - 'Doctor Harris' troptions in his land of make-believe are sure to take the investment community by storm. Haha!
As far as 'admired and respected' is concerned - that is only true if you are referring to how they feel about each other. Otherwise they are either laughed at or have people pursuing retribution for previous activity.
The local yocals (friends, family, acquaintances) you are referring to are the ones who made it possible for JV, GH, BV, CM, MB and their accomplices to enjoy riches beyond anything they could have earned through legitimate means. IMO, or just one man's opinion as you like to say.
