Yes, it is specifically based on several principals and facts. It is far too much to list in one post, but the basics are:

Stock price is falling and well off its recent highs. Lots of negative pressure on the stock, including but not limited to-

lost production in the area due to militant attacks.

more delayed drilling, no vision or timeline for production whatsoever. No available rigs. Once a rig can be found, if one can ever be found, the cost is very high. Since ERHE wouldn't ever see money but for profit oil, this gives risk they will never see a penny even if drilling happens.

Ongoing investigations. DOJ/SEC/HS are all have open investigations on ERHE which threaten whether they even have rights.

Small shell of a company with no employees and indications that they only reason they are even alive right now is due to bribes to Nigerian officials.

This part of the world where they hope to operate is extremely corrupt, maybe Nigeria is the most corrupt nation on Earth.
