Bush has spent 4 trillion dollars to kill a few thousand towel heads, and it's a lot more fucked up in the middle east now than before we went into iraq. He's never even caught osama.

That 4 trillion could have been used to subsidize a rapid renewable energy program, or even just knock off all gas taxes etc on the consumer. That would have kept oil prices much much lower.

Without the insane energy costs and their backlash on food prices, the economomy would be much stronger. Bush was also behind the idiots that allowed the housing market to run like crazy much higher than it ever should have, which is what really started the mess with the financials.
