The War No One Ever Wins

Well we're having a war
at Saddam's front door
And we'd like it if you all could attend
It's a casual affair
we don't care what you wear
and you can even bring a friend
So just come on down
and we'll sign you up
get a haircut and a physical free
when you get down there
you don't need no hair
'cuz your ass will be all they see


And there'll be bullets flying
people dying
car bombings all around
At night the missiles flare
in the smoke filled air
for the cameras on the ground
And all those trigger happy Army dudes
awaitin' with their M-16's
Well the man in charge
gives out credit cards
and the booze is always free


Now Abahmanajad
will declare Jihad
and send the orders to his men
but when they arrive
oh what a suprise
It's that terror guy Bin Laden
With his Al Quada boys
and their terrorist toys
all itching for a gnarly fight
Cuz when it hits the fan
in the Arab lands
It's fireworks in the night


And Bush and Cheney
Are ecstatic with the thought of a global war
Don Rumsfeld will arrange
for an arms exchange
to even up the score
Sell all those warheads, guns and nuke supplies
for oil to send back west
Buy lots of stock in Halliburton
as they clean up all the mess


Then one day you find yourself
washed ashore on a lonely beach
you walk around
and you find a town
but the war is out of reach
then you hear a tone
on your old cell phone
and you talk to Uncle Sam
who puts you back
in full attack
you're locked in war again


So as you're waitin' for the trucks to come
To take you on back out there
Go downtown in the middle of the night
to the ladies in the city square
you'll see those trigger happy army dudes
naked with their M-16s
where the girls in charge
take credit cards
and the rooms are always clean


So we're having a war
On the Arab shores
And we've still got a couple spots free
So if you'd care
to take a dare
and head on down with me
Cuz when we're done
With Al Quada bums
spraying bullets with a grin
well the bottom line
works out just fine
