Yes, the A/S was going to be increased again as the O/S was just maxed out. This was not obvious to many but to those that understand the market, this was bound to happen. This is needed to secure future financing and I do understand this logic.
The problem and the underlying worry is how much will the A/S increase by? Many have been burned by companies increasing their A/S to billions with CEO’s lining their pockets. Another problem is that this won’t be happening for another 6 weeks. Without any confirmation on how much the O/S will increase by and will the A/S increase anytime in the short term there is a lot of fear in holding this stock.
Uncertainty puts a psychological barrier on a stock. As the future is uncertain, this is the reasoning behind the selloff from yesterday and today.
Disclaimer:
I am holding a large position compared to the rest of my portfolio. I am waiting for tomorrow’s PR before I decide on what I want to do with this stock. I am not a basher or pumper. I do have a low number of posts as I normally only read and not participate in forums. I do whatever it takes to make money. Day trading, scalping, swing trading and investing, I do it all. I do my own DD and only post facts. I am always open to being corrected and feel free to do so just no personal attacks.
