Nice find Steak. I really think that wearable computers are going to start making inroads in the near future. There seem a lot of applications, particularly in vertical markets. Delivery services, technicians benefiting from quick access to data (eg, aircraft mechanics), military. Perhaps surveyors, inspectors, electric utility meter readers, etc.

I lurk around at the Yahoo XYBR message board from time to time,and am always surprised by the number of posts. Perhaps two or three times on average the number of posts for TMTA on Yahoo. There certainly is interest out there in the technology. XYBR seems convinced that they will soon have a large contract with FedEx to equip delivery people with wearable computers. That would certainly bring the technology to the doorstep of a large number of people around the world.
