For a 2nd day, Aug. crude topped $143 a barrel early, but cooled by the close, this time rising 97 cents to $140.97. A U.S. official told ABC News that an Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear sites is increasingly likely. The Int'l Energy Agency cut '08 global demand forecasts, but says supply will struggle to keep up through 2013. The IEA sees little evidence that speculators are fueling prices
