I can`t see that this has anything to do with CLYW, but it is quite interesting for Pctel and Birdstep. As you all probably know, Birdstep is involved in Pctel`s dual-mode-client which enables roaming between cellular and Wifi. Pctel has signed an agreement with T-mobile which will support aditonal use of client for roaming between cellular and Wifi:

CHICAGO & SEATTLE, Jul 1, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

PCTEL Inc. (Nasdaq:PCTI) and Birdstep Technology (OSE:BIRD) today announced that they will integrate Birdstep's Intelligent Mobile IP Client software with PCTEL's Segue(TM) Roaming Client.

Commercially available in Q4, the combined product offers a complete roaming solution for service providers, PC OEMs, handheld mobile data device manufacturers and various channel and reseller partners.

"By combining our technology strengths and expertise, this relationship will create the classic win-win situation, especially for our customers."

PCTEL's Segue(TM) Roaming Client offers an intuitive process that gives mobile users secure, seamless access and roaming capabilities for Wi-Fi networks and Cellular Data Networks in public areas, at the office and in the home. The Segue(TM) Roaming Client benefits both service providers and their subscribers by providing:

-- Consistent look and feel regardless of operating system platform

Birdstep's Intelligent Mobile IP Client enables secure and continuous connectivity of mobile devices through any network -- including LAN, WLAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular. "Our Mobile IP technology will add flexibility and convenience to PCTEL's Segue Roaming Client," said Hans-Arne L'orange, chief executive officer for Birdstep. "We believe our combined solution will have a great deal of appeal around the world as the growth of next-generation WLAN and WWAN data networks continues to accelerate."
