Morning Fish, I agree we're a lot closer to bottom than top. I've looked at but don't currently use the 50% over but have always found it of merit. I think I first saw it mentioned by Stan Weinstein years ago, Decisionpoint.com charts them for all the indexes as well as stockcharts.

Volume is something I'd like to put more work into. The only place I currently use it is 5 day mfi on mdy and I also track mclellan volume summations on sp400 and wilshire 5000.

I also like the 9:1 volume spikes carribeanjim talks about, which I think harken back to Marty Zweig, the inventor of the put call ratio.
