You are assuming and believing the situation. But reality says something different. Why would anybody threaten him for no reason. If he is a seasoned CEO, he knows what challenges could lie ahead. Just getting a threat and leaving the future of thousands of shareholders in dark without any notice does not make sense to me. He has cheated so many times that it will be impossible to believe that he was honest this time and fault lied with somebody else.
