uncommoncents, imo we're witnessing a handoff between the seller through PERT, and a buyer who wants in at a specific price. it has probably been prearranged. if you subscribe to my theory, that's why when the bulls started putting a bid under the pps at EOD today PERT went to work whacking the bid back down -- so they could sit there at 1.01 and maintain this same level. when you think about it, we've been hovering just above a buck for days now. clearly if PERT wanted more money for those shares they could get it. jmho...
