Thank you for the offer, but I shall decline, and here is why.
I seem to have the gift/curse of usually (not always, but usually) being able to establish an immediate rapport with whomever I'm talking.
I think it's because I genuinely care about people and it somehow seems to come through sometimes. For example, if I were to talk with you, my immediate questions and interest would be in how your wife was doing. That's what's really important, as I'm sure you know. I'd probably end up telling you about my Dad and going through with him what you're going through with your wife.
THEN, I'd get to the business questions. And by then, you and I would be buddies, (because I'm sure that I'd like you) and then I'd be no good whatsoever in making any kind of detached business decision. So that's why I no longer make calls. When I'm dealing with money, I like to keep the emotion out of it if possible. And your TV show could possibly affect my money. Nor would I call Beebe and ask him for his side because of the same type reasons that I just gave you. I'd rather just see it in print. Not the he said/she said type of print....but something official.
