Imperial Announces Increase in Revenues


Imperial Petroleum, Inc. ("Imperial" or the
"Company")(OTCBB Symbol: IPTM) announced its revenues for March
increased to approximately $233,000 for the month as a result of its
continued successful remedial work program.
Jeffrey T. Wilson, President of Imperial said "We are continuing
to be successful in our efforts to improve revenues and production
from the properties we acquired in January and have managed an
increase in revenues since then of about 89%. In April our oil sales
alone increased by almost 26% over March sales and we are continuing
to maintain the high production levels we have achieved thus far. We
have not yet begun work on the Louisiana properties we acquired, due
to weather delays, however we expect those wells to add an additional
128 barrels of oil per day once we complete the repairs. The cost of
the repair work is estimated at $175,000."
