I don’t assume to know or understand the complexities involved with all the decisions concerning the many 'valuable' avenues of the amazing science Peregrine is involved with. I can only imagine. There are sooo many experts involved in proving the true potential and I am sure all want a piece of the great American Pie. I am sure there are many unseen complications with trying to please everyone of them and to keep things going.
I read (listen) to all the opinions based on greater knowledge than what I have. After many years (and with lost investment), I can easily agree with the frustration...but I do not know all the facts involved for the delays (yes, there is the $$), but surely, it’s more complicated. When you hold things to your heart, you just take the public beating.
Should we get new management? I truly don’t know. Of course, if, they could bring the benefits of its offer to the table for less people to suffer and die...past the patient to the families, etc.
I try to believe that these BOD people are committed to the goal. There is a great!! Need. Most of us believe in satisfying it, with our compassion (directly or indirectly). And surely, if it was approved, it would benefit each of us (again, directly or indirectly) if we ever had to cross that difficult bridge. It would be such a ‘relief’ to know there was something to sustain our life... with the availability of quality of living.
My personal position is: I believe in the science!!! I hold my breath to see it available!! I pray!! for the obstacles to be overcome!! I have been educated with many avenues of battle between life and death. It scares me how some want the power to decide. Some from fear, some from greed.
I have chosen to have a simple heart. But there are many who manipulate for personal understanding or gain.
With all of these potential abstracts, which is the management involved with...? I choose to believe that they became involved because they also believe. Just have to deal with more obstacles than we are awarded with knowledge of to make an honest judgment. At least trying and know they can do more than myself...as ‘much’ as I want it to see the dawn of day.
Stooges?? I remember them. I don’t think the BOD are as thoughtless and self centered with awareness or oblivious. We all try to learn from what we experience...hopefully they are too.
This is a ‘serious’ science. It involves peoples lives. I see great production of hope from the achievements to date. They also have some of the greatest minds involved with assisting the promise available. Isn’t that part of management??? To make it happen??? I see progress in the science, yet not the pps... I hope that we will...soon.
