It means AMD aren't confined to the sub-$25000 niche you were talking about a few weeks ago.

I never said it was confined there, that is just where the
area of strength for x86 lies. In 2002 Xeon was in about
27% of systems in the $25k-$50k range and about 6%
of systems in the $50k-$100k range. Similarly RISC
held 34% of the market for servers in the $10k-$25k
range and about 4% of servers in the $3k-$6k range even
though its area of market strength is in large machines.
The market transition betweem x86 and non x86 platforms
is very steep with respect to price but it isn't a step
function.
