I trade this stock and my other pinks in a non-margin cash account at Scottrade. As my broker stated - They do not loan any stocks for shorting in their cash accounts - I have also heard this is the case at several other firms.

IMO - if you are trading GLCC in a non-margin account - the shares will not be loaned for shorting and you do not need to ask them for a "loan exemption".
