My gut tells me that the City of Opp Alabama with Robert Boothe and Lamar Lindsey will take over the Bio-Plant. It is proven that Lamar knows how to run the plant and build it. Boothe is a very good local business man well respected in the area! Of course this is my not so humble opinion. LOL LOL LOL.

Lamar Lindsey, born and raised in Opp Alabama and Covington County. He lives at the same address where he was raised, with his wife and two daughters, the same land his parents farmed in their younger years. His parents instilled in him qualities of honesty and hard work. Being raised in farming country, Lindsey understands how our land can work for us. He understands the problems facing American farmers as well as problems in our changing economy.
Lindsey has in excess of 23 years of agricultural experience related to peanut industry. He is experienced in building and electrical generation. Lindsey also holds Real Estate Licenses in Alabama and Florida.
In his spare time, Lindsey likes to spend time with family and friends.
Robert Boothe,
Government and Public Affairs Representative
Born and raised in Opp, Alabama and Boothe lives in the same home his parents built.
Boothe holds degrees in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Career Academy and in Radio and Television Repair from Douglas MacArthur State Technical College's as well as several F.C.C. Licenses.
Boothe brings considerable experience to Perhihelion Global with almost four decades in Broadcasting Industry and Public Relations. He has co-owned and operated WOPP Radio Station in Opp, Alabama for over 25 years with his brother Ronnie Boothe and still hosts WOPP's Morning Show heard 6-9AM Mon-Fri.
He is and has been actively involved in community and civic projects for decades on local, state and federal level.
Boothe is a member of the Opp Lions Club, Past President of Opp Civitan club, held various offices in the Opp Jaycees, is a Life Member of Junior Chamber International (Senator # 57307), and presently serves on several boards in Opp, Covington County and the Wiregrass dealing with elderly and handicap issues.
Boothe also has had the pleasure of handling the Public Relations for the famous Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo for numerous years.
