I just had surgery on Wed and feel like a truck ran me over.
I agree there are too many rumors around these stocks. Too many with partial or no truth to them whatsoever. It is a shame as some want to manipulate the stock just for a quick flip. I have stated many times on this board to only believe the official info put on the company's official websites. Heck, the BOD have posted the same on their websites! It is obvious the company's BOD have no intention of pumping this stock with PRs or fluff so why should the shareholders?
I will not comment on mining play usefullness as it has been enjoyed by some and abused by others. Personally I have not read it or posted on it for many months.
There are many who will claim that Price has "next week" this thing to death privately and to some degree openly in the PRs released.
Yes, all of us have a right to be frustrated with the time this has taken and this frustration has been multiplied by the rumors passed on by the well meaning and some not so well meaning shareholders who act like they are in the know. I think some bug the crap out of Price demanding answers until he just gives them a possibility of what may happen by next week and then shareholders take it as the gospel truth rather than "we hope to have ...(fill in the blank) done by next week".
But overall I try to remember that nobody wants this done worse than JJ or the BOD who stand to make the most off of this JV being done. No one has gone out there to the properties and stolen the value out of them like a thief in the night. And, last time I checked I don't see the demand for precious metals going away in this world.
As stated before, I am tired of waiting for this to be done just as much as the next guy. However, I am not tired of the BOD of both companies and JJ seeking out the best possible deal for the shareholder! So with that we wait.
I asked a friend the other day the following... Two AGM's ago we had a deal on the table for around 50 million. Now at the last AGM we are told we have a deal for around 150 million Euros or about 225 million US. If two years ago you were told this would you have been willing to wait the extra two years to get this much better deal? I think all shareholders would have said "YES".
So we wait and either have confidence in the property and JJ or we don't.
