The market will tell Mr. Pegoraro that it likes the P-2046 more than he does. My guess is that there is major ramp-up going on at the Fujitsu plant producing the P-2000s. When Fujitsu starts to offer the P-2046 with the newly available 40MB 5600 rpm hard disks, sales should skyrocket.

There was a brief note yesterday on Yahoo (unfortunately, the notes are always brief on Yahoo) from someone who saw a full page ad in a Dallas newspaper from an electronics retailer. Apparently the ad featured a Fujitsu Lifebook P-2040 v. an Intel PIII-M equiped laptop. If a retailer is promoting the LifeBook in a full page ad in a major newspaper, they have to be receiving/expecting major shipments of LifeBook Ps. There was the suggestion in a later post that the retailer was Frys. Anyone out there reading Dallas newspapers?
