I have. I've helped build two aircraft. It's not really all that difficult if you have someplace to do it and a couple people that know what they are doing. Even those old airframes will likely work just fine. It's not at all uncommon for airframes to be 40-60 years old.

If Thrush is for real, they won't break a sweat building an Integrity.

As for no 12+ seater single engine aircraft consider that for about 20 years there was little to no market at all for them. The BN Trislander wasn't even in production for nearly 20 years after they built only about 70 or so. The Trislander is late 60's technology if not 50's. They didn't have turboprops like today. Just for kicks, compare the HP or kW ratings on the 3 engines on the Trislander with the one Honeywell.

So, for 20 or so years, nobody was in the business. There really wasn't a market. Nobody put the time money nor effort into the segment of air travel. Integrity looks to fit into a market that didn't exist until fuel costs started to severely impact airlines.

IAHL might be smoke and mirrors and might just be a complete failure, but it won't be for any of the reasons you are advertising.
