I hear ya bro - ya i miss cro cop, he did some badass kicks to people's heads lol. Cro cop came close to beating fedor and fedor said he was the toughest opponent he has faced...but something happened to cro cop in the ufc..whether it was just better fighters in the league or if he has just gotten lazy..i don't know. couture-fedor would have been a major event...i would have loved to see that...i know couture quit the ufc...i bet dana white signed a deal with couture that prevented him from ever fighting in another league and now he's screwed lol. I think generally speaking its riskier for a company to have an mma fighter as a spokesperson compared to a baseball, basketball player etc, just because it fighting, is more of an all-or-nothing type of scenario. baseball players can whack 50 homers a year and be on a team that is barely above .500 and still be a spokesperson that won't be washed up after a few losses. Did you see frank shamrock vs cung le? shamrock was a dork for going toe-to-toe with him...he should have jiu-jitsued his a** and instead look where it got him...broken arm from too many kicks to the arm...but i guess he'd rather be a showman than a winner.
