I read Genesis in Hebrew, and it is flabbergasting how much "leeway" is left to the story of creation when the Hebrew text is read rather the English text.

This is understandable. The Hebrew text raises questions and the English text presents "closures."

When everything is presented in "black and whites" you know you are at the end of the evolutionary branch and at a terminal point in discourse.
