Strassenheim I too have been here for multiple years. Long enough to have a nice low basis slightly more then 1/2 of the price of todays close. I hold much in IRAs which is not subject to 1 year rule. I suspect other longs do too. Some of the longs have funds considered trading funds. You see them state I will take .70 or.100. I doubt any long woul exit the total position, but I believe the action we saw was tadring shares being shed by longs as well as momo players. I would hope we get news of a rig and or the new company. IMO any large player not in who attentended the Red meeting would come out do DD and calculate the time to drilling. If it is a year out they will place orders under the market and wait. In that length of time there will be some who MUST sell. Emergencies, estates whatever. They will pick up the forced sale. A year is a long time to a pro.
