That presentation was 2006. What do ya suppose the major cost are in a mining operation? Fuel for equipment?

THey said this... " This chart shows actual and projected costs of recovering bitumen from Athabasca oil sands. Deducting processing and recovery costs from bitumen valued at $60/barrel leaves $20 to $25/barrel profit margin."
