As the one who "blamed Sam for being naive or incompetent" I disagree with many points... Actually, being "tricked and swindled by those who posed as legitimate investors, technical experts and interested partners" is one of the definitions of "naive or incompetent". "He also confirmed that Strat's Russian subsidiary companies Strata Nafta Ufa and Crude Awakening are still actively involved". I don't want to start this discussion again, but... next time could you ask Sam what legal document constitutes that Strat Nafta is Strat's "Russian subsidiary"? I don't think such a document exists. BTW, anybody can spend $20 to get an independent info about Strat Nafta from biggest Russian SPARK DB:

I didn't register with Spark, but I see that the latest ownership report was filled on 1/1/2008.

We all, who hold SPRL shares, are waiting for some miracle now. Scotland? No. :( EOR? Yes, it could work... because Sam is limited to accounting functions there and let other more qualified people do the business.
