The Monte-Carlo Television Festival announces star-studded line up for the 2008 Festival with an unprecedented US participation MONTE CARLO, May 27th , 2008

The 48th annual Monte Carlo Television Festival has announced its impressive U.S. talent line up for the Festival, including performers from top U.S. series including Lost, Bones, esperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Law & Order, Damages, CSI: Las Vegas, CSI: Miami, Cashmere Mafia, Stargate, Grey’s Anatomy,
Desperate Housewives, Pushing Daisies, One Tree Hill, Numbers,
NCIS, Without a Trace, October Road, Flash Gordon, Days of Our
Lives, Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, it
was announced today by David Tomatis, Chief Executive Officer of the Festival, scheduled June 8 – 12, 2008.

Expected talent includes: Tate Donovan (Damages), David Boreanaz
(Bones), George Eads (CSI: Las Vegas), Adam Rodriguez, Sofia Milos(CSI: Miami), Jorge Garcia, Naveen Andrews (Lost), Michael Urie, Becki Newton (Ugly Betty), Dana Delany, Kyle MacLachlan (Desperate Housewives), Anthony Anderson, Alana De La Garza, Linus Roache (Law & Order), Miranda Otto, Bonnie Somervile (Cashmere Mafia), Lee Pace (Pushing Daisies), Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), David Krumholtz (Numb3rs), Mark Harmon (NCIS), Eric Close (Without a Trace), Christopher Judge, Michael Shanks (Stargate), Laura Prepon, Geoff Stults, Bryan Greenberg (October Road), Eric Johnson, Gina Holden (Flash Gordon), Deidre Hall, Drake Hogestyn (Days of Our Lives), Kyle Lowder, Jennifer Gareis (Bold and the Beautiful), Christel
Khalil, Greg Rikaart (The Young and the Restless), Kim Kardashian (Keeping Up with the Kardashians), Armand Assante, Michael Madsen, Corbin Bernsen, Crystal Allen and Laura Harring.

Legendary television creator and producer Dick Wolf will be receiving the Honorary Gold Nymph Award recognizing an individual for his extraordinary leadership and contributions to the entertainment industry. The premiere screening of the television film “Say it in Russian” produced by Imperia Entertainment will bring to the Festival a prestigious
cast including Faye Dunaway, Steven Brand, Rade Serbedzija and Agata Gotova.

U.S. nominees in the competition include:

- Drama TV Series : The Sopranos (HBO), Heroes (NBC) and Lost (ABC);

- Comedy TV Series : 30 Rock (NBC), The Office (NBC) and Entourage (HBO);

- TV Films: Bernard & Doris (HBO)
- Mini-Series: John Adams (HBO)
- News programs: Czar Putin (CNN), Alive Day Memories: Home
from Iraq (HBO), Brutal Bar Beating (FOX)
- International TV Audience Award: CSI: Las Vegas, CSI: Miami, Dr. House, Monk, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, The Bold &
Beautiful.

A total of 113 programs from 24 countries will be in competition. The winners in each category will be announced at the Festival’s prestigious Golden Nymph Award ceremony on June 12. “The Festival provides a wonderful opportunity to honor talent and quality in the television industry through a unique truly international competition” stated Tomatis. American producers will be present at the Festival either as jury members
(Ali LeRoi, David Leaf) or as participants such as Brad Wright, JB Sugar.
