Jim has to be really upbeat. His orginal lawyers all bolted on him. He now is being defended by a court appointed civil rights lawyer. It looks like he's rejected a plea deal his attorneys set up. And if Knowles has his strategy right, he's going to use the 'I'm an incredibly piss poor manager and administrator but I'm not a crook' excuse. He's going to blame everything on his bookkeeper and some mystery people/space aliens who duped him for over a year.

Comedy, yes, but also quite sad.
