Paul, yes I agree in general, but for UpNDown - I understood that he is looking to build system with a nice upgrade path for his own private use. He hasn't said that he has an immediate need for heavy multitasking, and the fact that he isn't rushing to purchase a 2P socket 940 board kind of confirms that.
