No. The value of the stock doesn't change at all after a reverse split just like it doesn't change after a forward split. The only thing that changes the market value of the stock is people buying and selling. When a reverse split occurs, the price is adjusted accordingly. If this stock is at 30, cents the day before the 1 for 2 reverse, it will be at 60 cents the next day.
