OK, I know this is an impossible question to fully answer, but does anyone have any clue what the "total" theoretical library of tracks would be? In other words, if you tallied up every single track that every one of the labels has buried in their archives, what percentage would 700K be?

Obviously, there isn't an exact number--it's like trying to pin down the exact number of people on the planet when they're constantly being born and dying; all anyone knows is that it's "somewhere around" 7 billion at the moment. With artists constantly releasing new songs, new covers of old songs, etc. etc., there's probably no way of getting an exact number, but anything close?

My totally pulled-out-of-my-butt guess: around 5 million total, which would bring the iTMS up to 14%.
