You're missing a third option. Hold mgmt accountable to either deliver or sell the company to someone who can. At this stage of the game UTSW provides the tech, mgmt provides the finances and expertise to monetize the tech. UTSW is performing, mgmt has not (to date). Valuable players (ie great technology) are sitting on the bench in a world where competitors that have resources can beat us to the goal line.
