Greetings from California, Mr. Schiets, and thank you for your email. I have indeed met Mr. Bickel on numerous occasions. In fact he is in our Irvine, California office this morning, and I just spoke with him at some length about the future of SIVC as he sees it. There are meetings here today with 2 audit firms to discuss more efficient processing of our collective China-based transactions.
I have a high regard for Mr. Bickel. Based on my observations, he is a sincere person who is concerned about doing quality work for the benefit of his shareholders and the company’s clients. He has had several decades of experience in China. During that period of time, Jim and his China-based team, in association with Redwood Capital, have developed an understanding and appreciation for the Chinese business world and its culture. This is the type of understanding which can only be derived from having personally experienced their way of life and how it has evolved over the last 20+ years.
I am pleased you enjoyed my broadcast comments. There is indeed good news about the bad news. Thank you again for your email. Best regards.

Mr. Jager,
With great interest I've listen to your interview you did with Stu Taylor. The way people do business all around the world is very different. You described that perfectly, imo. By investing in SIVC.PK I feel lucky to see such highly skilled individuals, like yourself, are teaming up with Redwood Capital. I really hope you are enjoying working with them. The investment board over at Ihub was very bullish over your insights. "The good news about the bad news" is a very important document, given me information I else would have missed. I hope to read more of your work.
I hope to ask you a question you are able to answer about Jim Bickel, CEO of S3 Investment. Jim is traveling frequently back and forward from the USA to China. Keeping the relations warm. I always thought Jim spoke the emotional local Chinese languish very well. S3 released a PR with their compassion for the victims struck by the earthquake and promised to donate to the Redcross. The stock jump 30% higher telling me the news was very appreciated by the same people Mr. Bickel is doing business with.
Did you ever meet Mr. Bickel in person? I would really appreciate if you could describe what kind of person he is related to his profession?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Steve Schiets
