very good point, josh. they were off on the predictions of the end of THEIR world by centuries, so why would they be any more right now?
Maybe the mayans just ran out of rock to carve on so they stopped.
They say the mayan calendar was more accurate than ours. well, i have never seen the calendar be off by a day since i learned how to read one... although daylight savings time has altered the number of hours spent in a hangover on certain mornings after halloween parties back in the day.
