Memorial Medical Center (Modesto, CA) purchased CDEX Inc's (Rockville, MD) ValiMed Medication Validation System for an undisclosed sum.
ValiMed helps ensure patient safety by validating compounded doses of high-risk medications prior to dispensing. ValiMed also can be used to validate narcotics returned to the pharmacy and test for counterfeit medications.

of course the url is expired..this was the second announcement that I found btw..I believe the first one I chased down thru the Sutter Health..and found it on thier site..it intrigued me because they didn't let out how much they purchased it for...
