CDI has ties to Syntroleum-Tyson

The company also has the U.S. Air Force looking at the process for its jet-fuel capabilities. CDI (NYSE: CDI) is working with the Syntroleum-Tyson joint development company to build a jet-fuel plant in Louisiana.

Engineering and information technology outsourcing company CDI Corp. said Tuesday a subsidiary was awarded a five-year watercraft engineering and marine services contract by the U.S. Navy worth a potential $139 million.

Under the deal's terms, CDI Marine Co. will serve as the lead contractor in the design and construction of watercraft for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Norfolk, Va.

Shares of CDI lost 11 cents to $27.72 in after-hours trading, after closing at $27.83 during the regular session.

Nice expensive stock, just awarded money to develop a new kind of watercraft for the US Navy. CDI related to Syntroleum-Tyson and bio-fuels. What are the odds that the US navy will use Palm nut oil for smaller lighter navy watercraft as part of their nimbler faster military?

Now CDI has the money to build, the contract to build, and wants a bio-fuel plant as well, what is the odds that CDI wouldnt want to acquire little BLDV to secure a supply of fuel that isnt related to corn or soy, like the Belizian cahoon palm nut? We know CDI has worked with Tyson and Tyson thinks its nuts using corn and soy as feedstocks, I would think this is good news for little BLDV.

Would the US Navy like to stick it to OPEC on its oil, using nimble fast high tech lethal watercraft? Something to combat IRAN possibly with their missiles they have? You would probably need a high energy source fuel, hello Cahoon Palm nut oil!

Something like a catamaran that skims on top of the water and goes super fast, full of missiles and other lethal attack gear. Using technology developed from the US sailing teams, light fast nimble. Less need for large aircraft carriers that are sitting ducks and fuel hogs.

$26 dollar stock could buy little BLDV in as fast as I can say "halt on news!".

Gotta love the market,
