OK, so I wanted to wait until the carnage was over and people had a chance to read the report before posting any comments.
First, this report is almost exactly what I (personally) expected.
Please remember, It was always called a "Preliminary" report.
The purpose of this report and the reason it is So Important is it Validates this site by an Independent, third party not affiliated with Sarissa Resources.
That was it's main purpose. Not to speculate what May be in the ground, but to validate the original reports and give an Updated Analysis of the actual site and those reports and findings.
I doubt very much that Mr. Keevil or Dr. Cheriton wanted a report with a lot of speculation about what else may or may not be there.
That will come with test drills later.
The original reports from the 1950's are wonderful, but too old for many people to consider as fact without validation in the here and now.
The Hawkins Report does mention other possibilities, but without the original cores to validate with would not be prudent to give specific information about this.
We already knew they probably would not find the original core samples (I believe Jim and or Sea had already suggested this in earlier posts).
IMHO, this report was simply to establish that the original findings are (at the very least) accurate and declare this to the World (the Mining World) and to use this report as a 'Springboard' to launch from. Any speculation of "doubling" or more that some people have mentioned in posts here is just that, speculation, until new cores are drilled and we have that info as fact. We ALL want that to be true and hopefully it is and hopefully there is more down there as well. Geology suggests this is the case. Other sites have established that with certain metals and minerals, you get others. Once new cores are drilled we will know for sure what we have.
Also do not forget we have all the other sections of this site and all the other sites (remember DeadMoose) that are just waiting to be explored.
Sarissa can now proceed with whatever they (Mr. Keevil and Dr. Cheriton) plans they see fit as the 'next steps'.
Guessing is fun, but still guessing...
One person earlier had some good points, like where will the money will come from for 'test drills'. I do not see any issues there. Whether it is a JV or acquire capitol and do it themselves, the money is in the ground and now they can actually say that with a straight face (maybe smiling a bit too).
The Need by the Entire World for Niobium (and whatever else they find down there) is just going to continue to climb. Probably the price for it as well. This is a Huge amount of Niobium they already know about and if we combine this with the other sections around this same claim then it we could have much more than we know about.
My guess is they JV with someone big. It would be quicker and easier to do a JV with a large company who has the equipment and time and money and people to put into the field right away. Time is also a factor here since this is not a part of the world with a particularly long drilling season.
That is probably what I would do in their shoes, but I am not so it may not matter, but still what I would do nevertheless...
Remember;
Scott Keevil took this job for no pay, just stock (30M shares) and he wants this to go up just as much or more than anyone.
Scott also is a well respected member of a very small mining community, he would Not take a chance in ruining his reputation and potentially his career by involving himself in this if he was not convinced that this was going to be a success.
I would be quite happy if this was worth $5 Billion...
I would say that Sarissa will be worth much more than this eventually with all their other properties and once the money starts to flow. (JV ore not...)
SO I am content that Scott Keevil has done Everything he has stated. Brought in independent verification of this site. Next the Audit will be completed, then maybe we will hear what his plans are, JV or not.
Either way I think this will go on to be a truly great find.
For us (investors) this is what we can hope for and realize in the end.
I am still not letting go of what I have (and still buying...) for a Long time.
