First off, your right:
8 000 000 Japanese yen = 77 208 U.S. dollars
Second off, why are they giving the currency in Yen? That's Japanese, aren't we talking about China? That would be the Yuan.
Maybe they meant Yuan because:
8 000 000 Chinese yuan = 1.14692 million U.S. dollars
They need to hire an editor, not an IR firm.
