Birdstep Technology Is far ahead of Calypso. I don`t know if you have noticed but the so called "patent" is not taken that serious! Birdstep have agreements with major companies such as Cisco, Hp, Ericsson, Alcatel and Nortel. They`ve ha a fantastic development the last year. Birdstep is maybe the leading company when it comes to seamless handover between different technologies such as WLAN, GPRS/GSM and 3G. This summer the Birdstep Mobile IP client is been sold to a lot of major companies in a office "package" from Ericsson Enterprise. Birdstep have also reached an agreement with their IP-zone software with the major Vodafone. Vodafone will install IP-zones in all their offices throughout the world. There is a huge possibility for the mobile client to be sold to vodafone. Birdstep is also integrated with the Pctel software "Segue Roaming Client". Pctel have agreements with Ntt Docomo, At&T, Cingular, T-mobile to name a few. I think you guys should wake up from your illusion. Calypso is a company in deep financial trouble and their taken a desperate take with this lawsuit nonesense. Her is the stock filings for some of the recent Birdstep agreements:

Vodafone:
14.04.04 09:11 BIRD BIRDSTEP SIGNES SOFTWARE LICENSE AGR. WITH VODAFONE avtaler

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BIRDSTEP HAS SIGNED A SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH
VODAFONE.

With reference to the Oslo Stock Exchange filing of October
21st 2003, Vodafone has signed a software license agreement
with Birdstep Technology for use of the Birdstep IP Zone
Software.

The pilot at Vodafone`s Head Quarter in Newbury, UK, for
employees and guests, is deemed a success. The successful
pilot at the HQ, means that the solution is now ready for
deployment at all other Vodafone offices worldwide.

Birdstep Technology expects to get knowledge and
conformation on the roll out plan, by the end of Q2 2004.

Nortel:
08.01.04 09:53 BIRD NORTEL TO RESELL BIRDSTEP`S MOBILE IP CLIENT avtaler

Birdstep has signed a reseller agreement with Nortel, the
global supplier of telecom infrastructure. In its dialogue
with telecom operators, Nortel will promote the Birdstep
software that makes information accessible on any device on
any infrastructure.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nortel is one of the world`s largest suppliers of telecom
infrastructure, and delivers networking and communication
services and infrastructure equipment to service providers
and enterprises in more than 150 countries. Nortel is the
number two supplier of CDMA infrastructure globally.

Because of the strong position Nortel has in the global
telecom market, the agreement is of significant importance
and opening new channels for Birdstep Technology. Nortel
will promote the Birdstep-solution towards telecom
operators when selling its telecom infrastructure
solutions, and the agreement opens up for future sales of
the Birdstep`s Mobile IP client software.

This agreement represents an important step in establishing
a strong position in the different channels to reach the
global telecom market.

When telecom operators distribute the software from
Birdstep to it`s subscribers, information/data on any
mobile device (e.g. lap top PC, PDA or smart phone) will be
accessible all the time as it is being moved between
various networks as for example GSM, GPRS or EDGE.
