I've tried posting here--a little--but it's futile, and I'm compelled to say that it isn't because of Dew, or the moderators, or anyone posting "zingers": It's because so many holders of this stock have become delusional, embittered, and intolerant of any discussion that does not presuppose dark conspiracies and the absolute efficacy of Provenge. Those people think all the "real" discussion takes place on I-Village, where personal attacks are considered good form, so they are there.

I've been making money on stock with married calls sold since last May, and have posted about it a few times, but that is not sufficiently optimistic to draw any comments from the True Believers, unless it's to put a rap on my willingness to sell calls. I'll bet this is the only response you'll get to your comments on that subject.

I've even posted (here or elsewhere--can't remember) that I think Provenge will eventually gain approval, but "eventually" isn't good enough for the True Believers, and since I implied that the approval wouldn't be driven entirely by science, well, that puts me beyond the pale again--not to mention the fact that I predicted an "approvable" letter as the most likely outcome last year, for which the True Believers will never forgive me.

Finally, not everyone who follows this sector has a lot to contribute on statistics, clinical methods, etc, even though those topics are discussed endlessly elsewhere (often by people who have no more to offer than I would on these subjects). Endless questionable speculation about the trials grows tiresome after a while except to those who are just grinding their axes.

So post away, and if some of us see anything to comment on, we will. For myself, I find the least on which to comment on good biotech boards because my knowledge of the science is shallow, so silence on my part doesn't imply lack of interest or disagreement. It's much easier for me to respond, if I choose to, to all the bad trading information and market analysis which make the I-Village board so lively. Kind of fun, but not very useful in the end, especially since the True Believers operate on faith and won't examine any of their premises for errors.
