Each “SuperBlade” is mounted vertically to the “SuperNest” enclosure, fitting snugly into rows of thirteen. This allows for a space-saving compact footprint, without sacrificing processing power. The SuperNest provides both power and cooling to the individual processing units; components are “hot-swappable”, granting on-the-fly interchangeability.
Speaking further of the SuperBlade™ server’s flexibility, customers should take note of the fact that the SuperNest can also be configured to house standard rackmount server systems. This enables the incorporation of switches, console servers, and other network implements.
The SuperBlade™ system can be fitted to nearly any size, depending on the user’s specific needs. SuperNests are stackable up to 7 feet high, and can accommodate up to 130 servers per fully expanded unit.
