- Universal Energy Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: UVSE - News), today, announced earnings of $0.6 million, or $0.02 per basic share and $0.01 per diluted share for the first quarter of 2008. Dyron Watford, CFO of Universal Energy Corp. stated "I am extremely proud of the results we achieved in the first quarter of 2008.

Universal has made important strides in its operations and we believe that improvement will continue throughout the year." The company has rescheduled its conference call and the release of its quarterly report on Form 10Q-SB until May 20, 2008, to allow for all members of the management team to be on the conference call.
