AgFeed Industries Is Not Affected by Earthquake in Western China

NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--May 12, 2008 -- AgFeed Industries, Inc. (NasdaqGM:FEED - News), a leader in China's pre-mix feed and hog raising industry, announced today that the recent earthquake in Western China's Si Chuan Province did not affect either AgFeed's hog farms or pre-mix animal feed production facilities. The earthquake's epicenter was approximately 1,000 miles from any of AgFeed's operations.
